This was a custom invitation suite designed for a modern, traditional, rustic wedding. This client came to us with a custom monogram by Happy Menocal. This invitation was created to celebrate The Waldorf Astoria's 85th anniversary. The Waldorf commissioned 4 design firms to create their invitation and my designs were chosen for the final product. I created a custom illustration of the iconic facade of the Park Avenue entrance, which was laser cut to show through the event logo. I designed this logo to showcase the Spirit of Achievement statue as well as The Waldorf's classic branding.
This was a Bar Mitzvah invitation inspired by the Miami Heat. The client wanted a tone on tone effect with pops of red and other colors. I also created a custom liner using basketball icons and other imagery related to the Bar Mitzvah boy.
The Bride’s Guide is a set of bridal books with tips and tricks on everything you need to know about planning your wedding, enjoying your special day, and surviving until death do you part! Take a peek inside this bridal package to find the ultimate guides for everything married life has to offer! This project was my senior capstone and I chose this subject because I really wanted to focus on delicate hand lettering and illustrations which I carried out through the packaging, patterns, and publications.
This project is a promotional piece meant to showcase my design skills and interests to market myself to potential employers. The "baker" theme was a play on my last name and I kept the rolling pins small in order to be able to easily mail and reproduce.
The People's Pub is a systems design created to bring a different crowd to the National Constitution Center on events they like to call "Civic Holidays". This Pub would open its doors to young adults serving as a destination to socialize, talk politics, become educated about their country, and ultimately drink and be happy! This system design includes a publication, meant to inform young adults about the events that happen at the NCC which includes give aways, drink coupons, and drink menus. Additionally there is a poster campaign to bring awareness to the People's Pub, and an app for smartphones that would allow visitors to socialize and stay in contact after meeting at the pub!
